Designing a residential interior for a multi-generational family located in Little Italy, New York. An Urban residential design for a couple, a 3 year old child and an aging grandmother. The concept was derived from a precedent study of the Furniture House by Shigeru Ban. The central core (the kitchen) both separates and unites the public and private living spaces in this interior. The partitions in the house transform it into a public and private space.
