LUKS Magazine #3

LUKS is a Hamburg based illustration magazine, originated by students of the HAW-Hamburg.
I`ve been working in the team since the second issue and with the third one we wanted to go big.
The third issues topic is „Taboo“ and this should not only show in the whole content, but also in the magazine as an object. We`ve chosen to use a strong black and white identitiy for everything in touch with this third issue.
The content is wrapped in a japanese binding, which has to be ripped open to be revealed. The cover is screen printed clear varnish on black with additional laser engraving, which was done with the help of Paperlux in Hamburg.
My part on this issue was to create the „corporate identity“ if you want to name it that way. This included the logo, the cover, the flyer, sings, lettering for facebook and videos on vimeo and everything in-between.
