Tucson Conquistadores Classic
The Tucson Conquistadores, a charity organization that has been around since the early 1960's has raised $29 million for youth athletic programs. At the Foundations core is the Annual Charity PGA Golf Tour held in Tucson, Arizona. This no-cut format features three days of competition every spring. This golf event is unlike any others, the Champions attend this low-key event, giving the audience an opportunity for an up-close and personal experience. The attendees are literally standing on some of the greens!
The theme of the website is nostalgia, the Conquistadores have been active in the Tucson community for nearly 50 years and have helped kids reach their dreams. I had a great time pouring through old photographs, talking with the members and really bringing the old and new together in this design.
Another of my favorite parts of this website is the Pro-Am, Play with a Pro full-day experience. Could you imaging getting to spend the day playing golf and learning tips from one of your golf heroes? This website has succeeded in bringing golfers and legends together and is a key component in helping the Conquistadores raise essential funds.
