Founded in 1940, blinc is a Japanese eyewear retailer that carries large selection of well-crafted spectacles and sunglasses from around the world. Vintage one-of-a-kind spectacles and sunglasses are also carefully selected for their customers to help find their perfect pair. A wide-ranging list of top eyewear brands can be found in their two unique stores; blinc and blinc vase.
STUDIO NEWWORK was approached by the owner Toshiyuki Araoka to redesign the blinc’s website. Through the process of redesigning their website, we were also asked by him to update their logos, stationery, PR materials, and shopping bags. The brand identity system was developed to highlight the store's spirit, legacy and energy. We chose luminous yellow as a key accent color since it’s used in their store interior and signage.
