#FightH1N1 Design Posters: 6 Things That You Should Do EVERYDAY!

Being a designer, you keep on looking around for the good designs in your city, and everywhere you go. I drive to work everyday which is 6.5kms and takes 10-15 minutes to reach. There is this never-ending quest for good design in me, and for that matter, I believe, in every designer out there.

It was just another usual day. Get up in the morning, get ready for work, eat breakfast while reading newspaper and read news about H1N1 cases in different cities of India. Yes, H1N1 virus flu or most commonly known as Swine Flu. The virus is spreading a lot, expanding horizons in India itself. Thousands have lost their lives during a past couple of months because of the said virus. Indian government is working in a best possible way to curb the spread of a flu – one of them is using hoarding and other forms of media to communicate with the citizens. Out there are the huge hoardings, with not-at-all-good design, urging citizens to take precautions and preventive measures. Seeing this, while going to the work, I decided to use my design skills for something good –  that is, for creating awareness among the people about the virus – and the preventive measures they can take to avoid the spread of infection.

I have designed 6 different posters for each precautionary measure. Of course, there are many, but these are the basic things that you can easily do to limit the spread.

Spread awareness, not virus!

Most importantly, KEEP CALM!
