Market@theSheds is an event that happens on the last Saturday of every month and its main focus is on Art, Food, Design and Music with a local flavour, aimed at showcasing the talents and initiatives of folks residing in Pretoria, South Africa. It can be seen as similar to the Neighbourgoods Market in Johannesburg and the Biscuit Mill in Cape Town – but with its own unique feel and offering.
 
 All in all there are between 50 and 60 stands at the market with a pop up art exhibition and an open stage where local artists create a laid-back, acoustic, jazzy atmosphere. Grolsch (SAB) is sponsoring the event with craft beers on offer, ciders, wine and cocktails and there is space for about 600 people to sit and enjoy the ambiance.
Their target audience is:
• Young, cool, up- and coming South Africans of all races
• Proud Pretorians, Connectors, influencers, forward-thinkers, art lovers, change agents, explorers, travellers, foodies, theatre goers and funky families of all ages.
• The diplomatic community, foreign representatives and tourists.
