A tablet, designed to organize the paper work of MIT Institute of Design's security service.

Security service of MIT Institute of design, has 7-8 security guards working in one shift, with a minimum of 3 shift changes per day.
They are supposed to mentain all records of Individuals, vehicals, materials etc. entering or leaving the premises and currently use a traditional pen and paper method for that.
Not only is that time consuming and tedious, half of their time goes in updating records rather than attending to security needs of the campus.

Since all the security guards are from local villages and not very well educated, they have a
phobia for technology. Therefore we tried to keep the display, interface and control part as
similar to the simple mobile phones as possible, which are already used by them.
A comparitive study of all the display and ontrol devices used and owned by the target user group on a daily basis, to understand their comfort zone.
