This portrait sitting was done under my side project, Street Candy. Street Candy covers a lot of the pinup portraiture I do, as well as events, gig photography and fetish stuff. Street Candy is actually a blog written with my best mate Emma who does the makeup on all the Street Candy shoots, and a lot of my Red Boots Photographic shoots.
For this shoot, Tash told us she wanted a burlesque feel, and brought the fans and her lovely accessories. Tash has some amazing ink, with some beautiful portraits of Hollywood leading ladies, and an amazing piece around her decolletage that we tried to feature as much as possible! She'd only just had this piece done, so we were very excited to be able to get some lovely pictures of it for her.
We shot at the Woolloongabba Antique Centre, who are always incredibly accomodating and wonderful people to work with. The biggest problem is trying not to spend too much money at all the wonderful vintage and antique retailers there!
