Neutro funzionale, appartamento a Pescara, 2014

This project is a about the restructuration af a flat located in the heart of Pescara, Italy. It consist in the fusion of two originally flat in one of the dimension of 160 square meters. 
Through the demolition of the separation wall between two apartments, the project provide the creation of  a large living room  and through the horizontal cut of the wall of the kitchen, it is connected to the dining room.
The section line x-x becames the main distribution axis, connecting all the house’s spaces, from dining room to entrance, passing through the living room, reaching night zone.
The wooden furniture design was conceived completely wall integrated. The living room is characterized  by the presence of a full height library merged with wardrobe in the entrance area.. One of the wall of the dining room is completely occupied by a storage furniture confirming the project strategy of alternance between empty and full walls. 
Similar full occupation affects the wall of the main bedroom full height occupied by the wardrobe and the floor around the bathtub in the main bathroom, incorporated in wooden furniture resin covered. 
The white lacquering of the furniture and the white  and light graycolor of the walls follows the intention to create an atmosphere of a neutral functional domestic, of time suspension.
All floors are in durmast wood and all rooms, except dining room and main bedroom, are equipped with a false ceiling containing led light spots and air conditioning system.
