Equipment thrown away and forgotten, found and dismembered, which are flexible, adjustable and can be reassembled. The equipement is forgotten and are useless, they are even less flexible, but they become sculptures, and are immediately recognized for what they were.
I have filmed the community of equipment In order to show them off with all of their capabilities, first in small groups, then all together witht the intent to have them play a percussive cacophony.
This naturalistic documentary shows how they interact symbiotically, like symbiosis when they used to work together in their previous life.
A dream of a barrier reef, the far away nature that has materialized from being transformed by the urban and industrial influence, poor art, a video of approximately 3 m inutes, a concert of work tools becoming scuptures, varying from a fragile natural and symbiotic ecosystem to an artificial economic system.
In the TV advertisements the Barbie dolls or the Gormiti move and live with microscopic writing on their sides stating “Simulated movements” but in Coral the equipement-sculptures move on their own for real and they advertise for themselves.
