Watermark Book 12
Each year Watermark produces a portfolio book showcasing a variety of new work by the different illustrators. Book 12 was the beginning of a new direction to what had been done previously. The main intent for this particular piece was to capture interest and create something that people would want to hang-on to. The screen-printed graphics on the natural box board gives a tactile feel to the book. To make the portfolio unique to the receiver, each studio (Auckland, Wellington and Sydney) had their own set of stamps (black illustrations), which was individually stamped before it was delivered to the client.
