My mom used to stay in this cottage in Dennisport as a child. Whenever we visit them on vacation we inevitably drive by. This one's for her.
Not sure why there are these giant pilings at this spot, just off of Water Street in Yarmouth. However, with the amount of ice they look a lot smaller than they actually are.
I call these "cheater shots." It's almost too easy to get a nice picture at sunrise near a light house. What makes it difficult is dragging myself out of bed at 5:00 am in -8 degree weather plus wind chill. My hands are still cold. So very cold.

Someone left these on the snow at Gray's Beach on Yarmouth. It kind of made me sad as there's no real reason to put them there that would be a joyous occaision.
