The brain holds a lot of mystery, there is still so much unknown about it.
Phobias are a type of anxiety disorder which affects the sufferer's life.
Depending on the grade of their fear, the person will try to avoid that thing/situation.

Agaetophobia is the fear of becoming insane or aquiring a mental desease.
The following question was asked to several people:
"if you wake up one morning questioning your sanity, what would you do in order to find an answer?"
The majority of the answers where focuse into an activity in order to check something.

This led me to a first proposal idea followed with a second and more developed one.

Proposal 1: Cubic Mind
For those who have to be constantly checking in order to calm down their anxiety, this cube provides questions of basic skills  and knowledge which would be easy for answer.

By getting the answers right it will be a form of reassurance that your brain is working properly.  This kind of questions are are used in therapy for people with dementia, Cognitive stimulation and Reality orientation

The format of the cube entertains the user with its moveable smaller cubes, making it more engaging. The size (4x4) also makes it easy to take with you anywhere.

Proposal 2: Little puzzles

Some people like to keep their fears and phobias private.

This second proposal has the same goal as the cubic mind; Calm people down by making them realise that they are able to solve the simple questions. This time, all the questions are disguised in abstract puzzles and these would integrate in different moments of their daily routines.

The product would be sold through internet, which allows the user to personalise the puzzles acording to its own taste and information.
IDENTIFY YOUR WAY.
This puzzle's goal is to remember a known short route. An example would be from the railway station to home.
This route would be personalised to the user. On the webpage the person has to introduce the data of the path to follow.

An area of the map that contains this rout would be selected and converted into abstract shapes, disguising the map. Main details (such us rivers, train tracks, main roas) would be left recognizable for the user to be able to locate the two ends of the route.

In this case, the puzzle would be locate it in a smart phone case.

SHAPES, COLOURS, POSITION.
Disguised as fridge magnets, this puzzle is all about recognising shapes, colours and positions.

Two sequences would be chosen and the user has to follow them alternating each day.
i.e. Sequence 1: triangle, square, circle
      Sequence 2: green, blue, yellow.
NUMBERS
This last example is based on numbers and dates. The user has to choose a date and the other squares will be filled with random numbers.
The right squares have to be turned around in order to reveal the correct date.

This puzzle is camoufladged into a piece of decoration that could be placed at homer or at the office.
