Wellington Visitors Centre
Mount Kaukau is a haven away from the city. Situated in Wellington New Zealandon the western side of WellingtonHarbour near Johnsonville and Khandalah. Lesser known to Wellingotn Visitors but loved by the locals. With breath taking Views that change systematically dependent on the weather. Recognizable viewpoints are: Wellington harbour, the Cook Strait, Kapiti Island, the South Island as well as the snow clad top of Mount Tapaeoenuku in the Kaikoura Range.
The Summit is 445 meters above sea level and is the most visible high point in the Wellington Landscape.
The Visitors Centre works as a resting point being placed at the average peek heart rate point. A place to enjoy the views and history of the area as well as gathering information.
