CHAPULÍN COLORADO-VECTOR TRIBUTE

El Chapulín Colorado
English translation: The Red Grasshopper
Mexican television comedy series that ran from 1972 to 1981 and parodied superhero shows. It was created by Roberto Gómez Bolaños 1929- 2014 (AKA- Chespirito)  a Mexican comedian and TV producer.

My fondest memories of being a child in Mexico was watching this show with my Grand Mother and laughing our hearts out! And then much later in the US, catching bits and pieces on the local Spanish channel 47 - Telemundo.
Like Mexico, I was saddened when Roberto Gómez Bolaños past away last year, but smiled from ear to ear, when thousands decided to pay tribute to his Chapulin Colorado-
Even Latino Marvel / DC comic book artists had created a tribute in his honor with some of the more iconic super heroes carrying his casket on shoulder out of appreciation and respect.
With that said, I wanted to return the gesture of capturing his vibrant energy with him in costume  and hints of color from the Mexican flag with subtle stylized aztec shapes .
