This work is part of Atlas project for the IUAV Univeristy Communication Laboratory. It is divided in a paper and in a digital part and is organized in ten topics, each one assigned to a different group, our is Interplanetary.
The "Atlas of contemporary networks" is the printed part, for which we designed and eight double pages for the following topics: Agreements, International Space Station, Communication satellites, Solar System, Milky Way and Universe, plus and index and a concluding spread.
For the digital project we choose to focus on the NASA Deep Space Network, used to communicate with distant artificial satellites and probes.

Questo lavoro fa parte del progetto Atlas per il Laboratorio di Comunicazione dell'Università IUAV di Venezia. E' suddiviso in una parte cartacea e una digitale ed è costituito da dieci diversi temi, ognuno dei quali affidato ad un gruppo diverso, il nostro tema era Interplanetary.
L' "Atlas of contemporary networks" è la parte cartacea, per la quale abbiamo progettato e realizzato otto doppie pagine sui seguenti temi: Accordi, Stazione Spaziale Internazionale, Satelliti per la comunicazione, Sistema Solare, Via Lattea e Universo, più un'indice e una doppia pagina conclusiva.
Per il progetto digitale abbiamo deciso di lavorare sulla Deep Space Network della NASA, usata per comunicare con le sonde e i satelliti artificiali più distanti.

The atlas is composed of ten different themes developed by ten different groups, but the final result had to be consistent in order to be considered unitary as an editorial project.
To achieve this it was decided to use the Risograph printing technique that has led us to use black as the common color and green or blue, alternating between the different themes.

L'atlante è composto da dieci temi diversi sviluppati da altrettanti gruppi, ma il risultato finale doveva essere omogeneo per poter essere considerato un progetto editoriale unitario.
Per ottenere questo si è deciso di utilizzare la tecnica di stampa risograph che ci ha spinto ad utilizzare il nero come colore comune e il verde o il blu alternati tra i vari temi.
