Because I am a girl I am hidden, unheard, and underprivileged. Across the world, women and girls face discrimination. Denied an education and health care, girls become prime targets to violence, abuse, and harassment. Without a voice, support from the community, or enforceable regulations, girls will continue to suffer.Plan USA has a campaign called, Because I am a Girl and with help from volunteers and donations they give the girls something they do not have, a voice. Plan USA works with the children to explore their creativity and how they can use music and acting to show their suffering. This opportunity not only gives these young girls a chance to have fun but a chance to change the way their community views them.
