Artists For Alzheimer's ARTZ

ARTZ is a foundation dedicated to helping Alzheimer's patients through non-pharmatheutical apporaches to help them with their condition. One main approach is painting, drawing, and learning about the arts.
The main logo uses a "frame" created from the letters ARTZ. The frame can be any dimension, as long as the ARTZ are in the corners. This is used throughout the brand identity and upholds the concept of "filling empty space with something memorable," hence the tag-line Pure Expression. The concept fits into the patients being seen as non-citizens, the "empty space" created by Alzheimer's neurologically, and these patients trying to prove themselves worthy of acknowledgement.
They have a main organization and branches that are city-specific. In these instances, the center of the logo is reserved for a city's main attraction.
The concept of the logo being a frame is also intended to be artistic, in of itself. When combined with the paintings and drawings of the patients, there is a structure that allows for it to be seen as an exhibit. The hope is that museums would allocate some space for the patient's paintings, which would spread the message of Alzheimer's and the ARTZ program.
With the University parternships, ARTZ would offer internships to art students to help the patient's with Alzheimer's with a theme and paint on A4 paper. From that the student would take some of the paintings and recreate them for larger sizes (like above.)

Another idea would be to have an art student take one of the paintings and recreate it in their own style, which also would be exhibited at the museums.
In order to get people to know about the events, advertisements will be necessary. They would follow the same system as the exhibits (name, diagnosis, time since diagnosis) and one poster detailing the event location and time. They will use Wlliam Utermohlen's work, which shows his work from pre-diagnosis to advance dimentia.

You can see how Alzheimer's degenerated William's work, and passerbys that catch this are willing to simply understand the negative impacts Alzheimer's have and hopefully want to take a part of it.

It's like an exhibit in the subway.
I call the logo, "The Frame."

Its intentions are to help the new ARTZ program rise above their competitors by having a dynamic branding identity. However, it is also for the patients with Alzheimer's, by giving them a platform where they are able to exhibit their own work to the public domain. By them doing so, they are filling in the "blank" of the frame and recreating a new future for themselves.
