Worked with two other students from my course at the VCA to create an installation based on the opera Lakme with a focus on set and costume design and historical research.

Garden in the early, warm morning with a smell of breakfast in the air. An enclosed, safe and comfortable place.
Mood board for set model. When listening to the sounds and music I imagined a warm forest-like garden with elements of fantasy. I imagined warm yellow sunlight coming through the trees and the whole environment was very enclosed and dense. My colour palette was plum, deep forest green, pearl pink and reddish-brown.
