The Honourable Wine Convent of St Urban Ljubljana is a congregation of men. In total it numbers 21 members, all of whom love and respect the vine and wine and work to nurture and develop a true culture of wine enjoyment. The Convent’s welcome greeting at gatherings is: Ad maiorem, vini gloriam! And the reply: “Tako bodi!” – (“So be it!”).
Each year Convent members make selection of Convent wines, which is done by taking a tasting of wines from a different Slovenian wine cellar. The selected white and red wines receive a special Convent label.
