I have The honor to make a collab in 3 great events, the "Mexican Design Open" at San Ildefonso Museum of art, "The City of Ideas" in Puebla City and "Comex Trends" at Parque Fundidora in Monterrey.

This was a phenomenal expierence to me, I was comissioned to create a big wheatpaste mural for Comex paint brand, in the context of the all-stars design collab they made to create 4 trendy color palettes for interior and exterior decoration.

My comission was to encourage people to paint in a blank surface (the name of the color palett was "Liberty") then, after a few hours I intervened the space with the mural.

This piece is an attemp to demonstrate the union of nature and the liberty of all the living things in it, the main figure has a "Yolotl" (the náhuatl word for heart) in the middle of his chest, open up, with a prehispanic knife crossing it, this was a representation of the sentence "the suffer of someone is the freedom of many others". The nature always sacrifies itself to give us freedom and it doesn't even yell at this fact, this "yolotl" is tearing appart a modern heart representation enhancing the importance of have present our cultural roots.
