Black Widow Slingshot Package Concept, Top Layer. Barnett is having an issue with their current line of slingshot packaging. The slingshot cables are exposed in the current packaging; they often become tangled in the process of being packaged, and shoppers are having difficulty recognizing the product as a slingshot. Among a fully-stocked shelf of other products, it's imperative that shoppers understand that this package represents a slingshot, even at a brief glance.
The reason the slingshots are currently packaged this way is to showcase the handle, which is a selling point. This Black Widow concept is an answer to the problem--print the full body of the slingshot so that shoppers see the shape as they glance at this package, and create a window in the package by which to offer a close look at the handle. There are two windows total: the window for the handle, and the one revealing the black bottom layer that reads "Black Widow" (next image).
