The EyeBuoy is an adjustable floatation device for your glasses. The design allowed for it to be worn loose around the neck or for it to pullyour glasses snugly against your face keeping them in place.

 

The idea come out of losing a pair of expensive perscription glasses while windsurfing.

The first models were quite bulky as there was a specific weight we wanted to be able to float.

We also had to come up with an alternative way of afixing the EyeBuoy to glasses that had very thin arms.

In the end a thinner oval version was the standard available in bright colours.

The marketing was aimed at promotional companies and cruise lines. As the foam could be cut out in any shape the shape of a cruise ship, jet ski or company logo was easy to attain. We were also able to pad print in as many colours as the client required.
