The Necklace App was created with fellow designer Laura Geraghty as part of our Masters in Creative Digital Media.

The app was designed and developed from original concept to finished artifact in approximately 7 months.

We took an itterative approach to development. We designed, built, tested and repeated the process until we had created an app we knew would satisfy our target audience.

Research was an integral part of this project. Substantial competitor analysis was done at the outset to identify the market. We created ourselves a brief and goals we hoped we'd achieve.

We tested a prototype on potential users from our target audience. We continued to do this, iteration after iteration until we were satisfied that we had created an app that had achieved our goals.

The app consists of 32 scenes, 28 of which are illustrated and contain animations and user interactions.

I was involved in all aspects of the project, particularly the development and designing the user interface.

The app is available on the iTunes App Store and has been downloaded over 300 times. Find it at https://itunes.apple.com/ie/app/the-necklace/id816256518?mt=8

All aspects of the project were extensive documented, this document can be downloaded from the folowing link. http://goo.gl/DSGz8S
