" 'Tales of the uncanny' is a look book created in collaboration of Moscow-based visual artist Smokin Zorro and Berro Bogov in a form of noir-comics as an advertising campaign for a limited edition scarf collection.
The collection offers the unique design in four colour ways with three size options. The partnership celebrates the shared aesthetic vision of Berro and The Souper Dress, this time combining an interest in symmetrical design with strong references to the imaginary world. The artwork is adapted from Berro's Ascetic Hedonism series in which unreal creatures and plants from a dark and whimsical world, horror-fuelled urban elements and traditional craft patterns have been worked into the scarf design to form kaleidoscopic geometric shapes, laid out to create hauntingly attractive motif.

Smokin Zorro fuses together disparate elements drawn from his autobiography, street heroes, comics, post-noir films, graffiti and video games with themes like money and sexuality, art and drugs, danger and humour, composed with his original way of incorporating text.

His inspiration is diverse and the themes he explores are difficult to define into definitive boundaries but his usage of video games aesthetic in relation to real live reveal his deep-rooted interests and concerns. Each of the artwork is an science fiction adventure in an imaginary world, full of extremely detailed characters and elaborate lighting effects, graphics nearing photo-realism and elaborate three-dimensional worlds with rich and detailed textures. Мне было просто по кайфу. Я порисовал от души) Берро делает жутко забавных кукол и сексуально извращенские иллюстрации. Они мне понравились, я просто нырнул в ассоциаций и разъебал диджитл арт как я люблю.
