Spatial Dynamics - Fall 2014

3D Scan Self Portrait in Rhino
Using a modified Xbox Kinect, I took a scan of my body and ran it through the AutoCAD software Rhino. From there, I modified the scan to create a self portrait based on the lines and geometries I noticed in the shape of the skull.
3D Scan Self Portrait through Time
Using my previous self portrait, how can I make an image that suggest a time sequence? I was very interested in the aspect of how recognizable certain parts of my original scan were, or how recognizable the human form was in my original scan.
Nude Models in Rhino
Computer aided drawings done in Rhino during a nude modeling session.
Gestalt Metamorphosis
Using the similar technique of building models based off of 3D scanned objects, for this project I scanned a puffin, a starfish, and a woodchuck from the RISD Nature Lab. I was asked to make a "gestalt metamorphic surface" from my 3D scans.
