As a company that has developed a strong brand position in the heart of the customer, PT Kalbe Farma Tbk noticed the importance of unlocking the skills and knowledge of the younger generation for they will be the nation’s future. In 1992, the company established STIE KALBE under the KALBE Education Foundation (YPK). After changing its name several times, in 2011 YPK cooperated with Bina Nusantara (BINUS) management and revitalised the institute into KALBIS Institute. 
 
In 2014, KALBIS Institute was planning to reach middle to top class of people to enroll as the students. Considering there were already a lot of established universities in Jakarta itself, it was indeed more competitive than ever to get quality students. Accordingly, they needed to create a great campaign to showcase its distinguishing features to attract students.
