Breakthrough wooden case, screenprint on carton

My memory is selective. Instead of  remembering stories, specifical actions or situations, I always keep images, colors and ambiences in my mind.
I have made a box with a blinder on the top to keep the drawings of my favorite memories in a safe place. When you look through the blinder, you can see abstract pictures;  but when you pull them out of the box, you discover the whole image, which becomes figurative. Overleaf, the name of the place is written in Komunikat, a typography composed with just the minimum of lines required to be legible. This type, drawn in 1932 by Władysław Strzemiński and digitized by Fontarte, swings between figuration and abstraction, just like my memories.
