Square Knot is a bent lamination table that consists of only two different kinds of parts and draws upon the comforting visual metaphor of woven cloth.
The table is designed after the Japanese kotatsu, a low table used traditionally by family members to hang out under during the cold winter months.
Square Knot, like a kotatsu, is meant for relaxed social use.
Square Knot is easily assembled by weaving the panels together and then securing them with metal braces.
