La Louve – Ceramic boards

The triptych was designed to fit into the coffee bar named “La Louve” in Lausanne (CH). The boards decorate two main room walls. They represent the three types of drink which can be found in the establishment: morning coffee, afternoon beer and evening cocktail. The clear circle on the background symbolizes the moon.
The ceramics are composed of a large clay plate on which importants objects (wolf, cubs, drinks and logo) were arranged. Also made of clay, these elements give relief to the boards.
To gain in contrast, a slip was used on the background and glossy enamels on the volume elements.
