In my lighting design for Mask & Bauble Dramatic Society's production of Stephen Sondheim's famous Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street, I decided to echo the show's frenetic and fast-paced music through moody color tones and dramatic shadows, thereby further emphasizing the story's sinister and suspenseful narrative.
