Astro Boy and the God of Comics is an original theatrical piece by director/devisor Natsu Onoda-Power. It had its debut at Studio Theatre in Washington DC in 2012 and a subsequent production at Company One Theatre in Boston in 2014. The logo I designed for the show incorporated Astro Boy's iconic head shape as well as Osamu Tezuka's equally iconic beret. It has been animated by Onoda-Power and projections designer Jared Mezzocchi, and also physically realized as costume patches on the jumpsuits used in the show.
