Here are the results of my monogram and stationery set project.

 

The monogram came first. I did several different sketches, varying the sizes, cases, and other aspects of my initials. After selecting the strongest sketches, I made digital mockups in Illustrator. Following that, I chose the strongest design, refined it some more, and added color. The result is at the top. As you can see, it works in both color and in all black.

 

The stationery design came about in much the same way. I made sketches based on my strongest monograms, and then made digital mockups of the strongest stationery sketches. The one pictured was the strongest of them all, and I felt that its strong shapes complemented the monogram. The colors catch the eye, but they are not overbearing.

Overal, I am very pleased with the outcome.
