On a quiet side street in downtown Schenectady, NY, Tara Kitchen creates dishes with the distinctive flavors of North Africa. Aurora Design was contracted to create labels for ten new food products for home cooks. Inspired by the tagine, a traditional earthenware cook pot of Morocco, these labels bring exciting color and dimension to shop shelves. Typographic details including quirky ligatures and expressive patterning hint at the exotic flavors within.
