The latest installment in my ongoing Midnight Modern Series capturing the classic mid-century architecture of California in the eery light of the full moon.
This series is an exploration of the houses, the mountains as a backdrop and the moonlight in an attempt to show the extensively photographed architecture in a new light.
This series saw me gain access to some of the world's most famous mid-cenutury homes such as the 1946 Richard Neutra designed Kaufmann house, famously shot by Slim Aarons and Julius schulman.
This project has been a dream run for me and i recently got to exhibit them inside one of the homes as part of Modernism Week. Online the work has been featured by Cool hunting, Yatzer, Wired, AnOther, iD, Dazed digital, Dezeen and FastCo just to name a few.
