Game of Thrones
I got the idea of the project about half a year ago. So much time has passed since then and the result looks pretty different from what I thought it would be in the beginning. Seems like the delay turned out to be a good thing after all.
This is a personal series of illustrations that interpret the Seven Kingdoms' houses from Game of Thrones.
The first illustration is dedicated to one of the main and oldest heroes, House of Stark.
House of Stark
House Stark's sigil is a grey direwolf on a white field, sometimes white and pale green. They are one of the few noble Houses whose family words are not a boast or threat. Instead, the House Stark family motto is a warning "Winter is Coming".

The second illustration is devoted to the coat of arms of Baratheon's house.
House of Baratheon
House Baratheon's sigil is a black stag on a gold background and their house motto is "Ours is the Fury".

Here comes the Lannister!
House of Lannister
House Lannister's Heraldry consists of a golden lion on a crimson background, and their House words are "Hear me roar!"

I found putting the fates of the characters and the specific heraldric features together harder than I thought it would be.

The first idea was to create a compilation of all the events that occurred with Lannister’ dynasty. But it turned out an impossible task to do so I decided to focus on one of the key moments.
Now is the turn of House of Targaryen.
House of Targaryen
House Targaryen's sigil is a three-headed red dragon on a black background, and their words are "Fire and Blood".
