Elixir Design's profile

National Fish & Wildlife Foundation | Identity

Elixir designed the invitation and event collateral for NFWF’s last four West Coast benefits, each honoring one person for whom we, with event designer Stanlee Gatti, conjure up a visual theme that extends into the event decor. The casual event is held in a huge tent on San Francisco’s Crissy Field (with a dazzling view of the Golden Gate Bridge) bringing the year’s theme to life.
2012 BENEFIT INVITATION
To honor Robert Fisher, the invitation included an articulated paper waterfall activated by a pull-tab.
2011 BENEFIT INVITATION
In 2011, to honor James Morgan, the chairman of Applied Materials, we created a three-piece forest of layered cardboard.
2010 BENEFIT INVITATION (EAST COAST)
Based on the success of the West Coast invitation, Elixir was asked to create an additional version for the East Coast Benefit. Once again, Andrew Zuckerman generously donated the use of an image.
2010 BENEFIT INVITATION (WEST COAST)
To honor Stephen Bechtel Jr., Andrew Zuckerman generously shared his image of a peregrine falcon. The poster was printed on newsprint, bound with teal thread on which the falcon seems to land, underscoring the fragility of the natural world.
