This is my first project for my Typography class. I had to choose a celebrity and a font that fit their personality. Next I had to use the characters from that typeface to recreate a picture of the celebrity. I chose a Japanese singer/song writer and guitarist by the name of Miyavi. The picture I used is an older one when he, yes he, was in his 20s. The font I used is Nightshade, not to be mistaken for Jim Nightshade.

Every word that I used in this project was related to him in one way or another. It's a mixture of quotes, song lyrics, and an english translation of the Buddist Heart Sutra that is written on his back in Japanese.
