This work explores design technology, using three different materials and three different technologies: Wood, PBA plastic, and acrylic, cut and constructed with the CNC router, 3D printer, and Laser cut machine. I soldered an circuit for the LED lights fitted within the interior acrylic cylinder made from stacked acrylic rings. This is a modular lamp: each disk, fitted around the interior cylinder is rotatable to adjust direction and availability of light. The user can all also remove the disks and re-organize for varying appearances.
