Concept — The name Tallio is derived from the 18th-century phrase “Tally-Ho”. The French “taïaut” was used in the hunt to exclaim “Charge!” when the target was detected. Now more commonly used as a jovial greeting.
Our goal was to contrast the logotype with a simple, but intriguing symbol. With two sets of two parallel bars offset in height and angle, the resulting symbol is a three-dimensional box and a irritating arrow of sorts at the same time. The brand icons also mimic the symbol's interlocking nature further tying the brand together in tone and visual complexity.
