Me and my college, interior designer Olga Konyuk worked together to create and develop the brand for the restaurant starting with the name. The concept is Italian cuisine and restaurant’s main feature is real Italian pasta. It is located on the Sophievskaya street in Kiev. We decided to create more than a restaurant, it was to become a pasta lovers club. We browsed lots of Italian names before realising it was written on the sign on the corner all the time. Sophia fits well and is easy to remember. Name was approved by the client and we started working on the logo.

 

Client wanted to have something more ‘alive’ possibly with the use of characters. After brainstorming we created a new concept.
