Bar Piazza is a well established coffee bar and deli located in the heart of Newport City Centre. Due to ongoing expansion and development of the central shopping area (John Frost Square / Friars Walk) the business required a rebrand in order to take full advantage of the potential increase in footfall in the city centre once development is finished in late 2015.

 

Bar Piazza’s core values are that they are a family run, Italian inspired local and independent business that has a long established customer base who come to the cafe for their daily coffee and light lunches. When designing the new identity for Bar Piazza, we were keen to keep these core values intact, in order to keep existing customers happy, but to also attract new customers to the store – people who may prefer to support local businesses rather than the high street chains that have recently moved into the area.
