Pet Portraits
Animal portraits are my passion. When I complete a painting of an animal I somehow feel as if the soul of the subject has touched my heart in a very spiritual way. I have a very difficult time letting the painting go. I also believe that each and every one of us has a soul but that the soul of an animal is innocent and therefore is blessed and is closer to Creator. Every stroke of the brush honors the soul. That's why when I finish a painting of an animal, I feel that I have given purpose and honored their life and spirit. Perhaps in doing this, I have brought my soul one step closer to Creator. At least I would like to hope so.
