Nux Bowls 
these bowls were created out of aircraft plywood and were made to be able to be flat packed and assembled by the user. Very thin and light weight they give a cantilevered effect when filed, creating a sense of suspension

 

For this project the goal was to create a small container to hold either fruits, vegetables, or nuts.

 

The specifications for this project were:

·      The form must be specific to our chosen food item

·      It has to be made of aircraft plywood

·      Must be able to be flat packed and fit into a tabloid size envelope

·      Be able to be assembled by the user
