Flashorama. When flash was cool

my support website for flash lessons years ago

When Flash was cool – times before the touchscreens and smartphones dominate the world – I use to taught flash animation and ActionScript.

After a few years of classes a sequence of exercises began to cristalized as the 'must do exercises'. Most of the shapes were simple to draw and each exercise was a step to understand a flash concept or tool, to understand a animation concept, to exercise with the interface tools, or just for mere fun because the exercise was cute and appealing.

One day I decided to compile my 'monkey see, monkey do' exercises in a website, and to turn it the cornerstone of my lessons. Flashorama changed the classes workflow making a huge impression on my pupils. Now they could see and play all the time through the path of exercises I was driving them. Each could learn at their own pace and the classes got easier for me. And soon I started putting stuff just because it was fun and interesting. I still have some games and interactions I want to adapt to flashorama from my last ActionScript 3 classes.
