Akira Kurosawa Postcard
As part of the 2 to the Power 10 exhibition.
Andreas Pohancenik from Practice + Theory studio has invited me to collaborate with one card for the project 2 to the Power 10 organized by The Orange Dot Gallery in London.

A project exploring global artistic connections to the area of Bloomsbury from the network of 32 artists linked to the area and The Orange Dot Gallery. Partnering with The British Postal Museum & Archive and CASS Art this project reinvigorates tangible communication, combining it with online interaction.

2 to the Power 10 brings artists together to develop a communal art work, where none of the 32 artists will know how their composite image image will look until finally displayed.

Andreas has chosen a quote from Akira Kurosawa: "Man is a genius when he is dreaming", typographically and beautifully designed. So I've decided to keep my contribution in that topic portraying the face of the film maker in illustration and type. The animation has been made with a technic I have invented inspired by the technics of Rufus Butler.
This is the postcard I've received from Andreas, it is just one corner of a 32 cards composition.
