I wanted to do a fun piece about a wierd party. It began with a doodle in my sketchbook and then took a year to complete as I kept on putting it off and changing my mind.

These were the original sketches. The bottom rough is tiny, but that's really the essence I was trying to capture.

So this was the first draw in Manga Studio, when I was trying to figure out the perspective rulers. It came out ok but I didn't quite like the sketch so I left it alone for some months.

Eventually I redrew the sketch, and it came out better. You can see the old sketch above vs new sketch.

I blocked in the flat colors in Illustrator.
