Created for Project Zero of the Harvard Graduate School of Education. The installation served to create a central experience for a multi-day conference on Design, Thinking and Making. Each day conference participants were asked a different question, writing/drawing their response on the color ribbon of the day. After placing their ribbon on the piece, participants could spin the wheel creating a motion of color, a dappling of light and were confronted with yet another response. Each day participants gathered beneath the sculpture enjoying the space, the gentle touch of the ribbons, and the soft jingle as it spun above their heads. The work created created community among participants by fostering interaction as they engaged with the piece and each other.
