The theme of this Sculpture is ( The Kaipara from the Pacific to the Tasman )
The waved shaped Kauri base cradles the delicately carved antler.Dolphins on each coast frolic in the ocean waves. Bringing added dimension is the Paua wave. The Kowhai is to depict New Zealand land of abundance.Kiwi, Kauri tree, ferns and coastal habitats are all an integral part of the Kaipara.
