Imagination and Adventure

This all started as a doodle.

I had a piece of paper in front of me, big and white and empty. I drew a little face, nothing too taxing. An excited little girl. But this girl was looking for an adventure, and she shone through the page at me. I drew in her map and her shovel, but it still wasn't enough. She demanded nature. So I drew a tree, a couple of rocks, some grass. A few more trees. Some bushes. Yet more trees.

Before I knew it I had created a full scene, when all I'd meant to do was doodle a happy little face. I guess it just goes to show how much potential each blank piece of paper holds.

Imagination and Adventure

A little girl on an adventure shined through a piece of paper on my desk, I couldn't help but draw her world.
